I am a Physical Therapist and Stott Pilates instructor. I am a registered member of the CORU Physiotherapy Registration Board and a member of the Irish Association of Physical Therapists (IAPT).
I offer Physiotherapy services in Cavan and Meath.
In 2007, I achieved a long-held ambition to begin training in Physical Therapy. From a young age, I enjoyed playing sport and being active and my interest in hands on and exercise therapy for treating and preventing sports injuries developed from there. Having spent a number of years working in an office-based environment and commuting daily, I became interested in how Physical Therapy could be used to prevent and treat other injuries and conditions including postural and repetitive stress problems.
I qualified from the Institute Of Physical Therapy in 2009.
I am a Stott Pilates instructor, qualified to Advanced Mat level. I am also trained in Pre and Postnatal Pilates.
I completed training in Dry Needling in 2011 and incorporate this into my treatments.
More recently, I have become interested in the areas of Cancer Care & Women's Health and have completed workshops and courses in Oncology Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, Pelvic Health & Menopause; .
